Coffee brings people together in a local way.
When we traveled to a coffee plantation in Mexico we wanted to not only see where some of our coffee comes from but also experience the local area, the food and the culture.
I’ve always found that coffee is universal. Maybe the preparation is a bit different sometimes, but the way it brings people together is unmistakable. When you visit a friend or you’re a guest yourself, what’s the first thing you’re offered? Coffee! It’s a way to connect. To start a conversation. Or to just enjoy some time to yourself.
For many of us it’s become an almost automatic ritual in the morning. It tells us our day is starting. But then again, it’s what we have in our hand as we explore a new city. Or a familiar one…
